Triplicate injection of 60μL of Albumin (2.5μg/μL) at flow rate of 1 μL/sec into an empty flow cell (bottom) or into a cell filled with Aminolink Sepharose beads (at pH 10) Injected volumes 60μL, flow rate 1μL/sec. Total immobilized BSA is 0.17/0.07x2.5= 6.1 mg, or only 2 μg out of 150 μg BSA injected each time (1.25%). This low yield of immobilization is due to a short contact of BSA with the bead layer, compared to batch mode immobilization time available in the microreactor.
